Colin commenced his career with The Channel Islands Co-operative Society in 1990
and since becoming CEO in 2010, he has orchestrated its diversification into pharmacy and medical
and spearheaded a transformation programme while ensuring its ongoing commercial success across its 34 Channel Island stores.
Colin is passionate about enriching our community, fanatical about supporting our local economy
and a deep believer in the potential in people. Among his many awards,
Colin was winner of the IoD Jersey Director of the Year for Large Organisation in 2015
and went on to win that category in the UK Finals in the same year.
FOUNDER, THE BUSY QUEEN BEE
Claire has more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality and tourism. Originally from France,
she has lived in Jersey since 2000. She worked at the St Brelade’s Bay Hotel,
opened The Royal Yacht Hotel after its £30m refurbishment; and then moved to L’Horizon Hotel.
In 2009 she set up her own company ‘The Busy Queen Bee’, capitalising on her hospitality experience to provide specialist customer experience,
mystery shopping and speed buzzing services.
She is a member of the Mystery Shopper Providers Association and The Institute of Customer Service.
In 2014 Claire was awarded the IoD Director of the Year Award for a Small Organisation

Chris is the CEO and founder of the Consultancy ‘Prosperity 24.7’,
a business focused on integrating technology and business with simplicity.
He delivers strategic business consultancy focussing on governance,
best practice in IT and driving efficiency through the pragmatic use of technology for a range of clients
including local Government, Financial Services Regulators and a range of organisations in the Financial Services,
Legal and Retail sectors.
Chris won the IoD Jersey Director of the Year Award for a Medium Organisation in 2014
as well as being highly commended in the UK Final IoD Awards.
Prosperity 24.7 won the Awards for Enterprise ‘New Enterprise of the Year’ in 2014.
GROUP CHAIRMAN & CEO, JTC GROUP
Nigel has significantly grown JTC over the last 25 years.
Drawing on extensive experience gained from roles as diverse as personal trustee through to directorships of quoted companies,
he provides strategic leadership and management for all areas of JTC’s operations, as well as developing the people he works with.
He has been named as one of the top 20 trustees internationally in the Citywealth Leaders List 2013 and 2015
and has been recognised as a leading ‘Trustee of the Year’ in the 2014 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
Nigel is a Fellow of ICSA and CMI. He is also a member of STEP,
the Jersey Taxation Society, JFA and IoD.
Andrew is Consultant Cardiologist at Jersey General Hospital and Honorary Consultant at Oxford University Hospitals.
He was educated at Victoria College and qualified in medicine in 1992 from Southampton University.
In 2004 he was awarded an MD by Kings College and is on the visitor faculty of The University of Southampton.
In 2010 he launched the first of his digital health ventures - Heart for Life
– providing the public with high quality, affordable access to heart checks.
Andrew was awarded public sector IoD Director of the Year in 2015 and was Highly Commended in the UK finals.
