Chartered Directors in Jersey

The number of senior business professionals holding the prestigious Chartered Director status has hit the 20 mark, with Noel McLaughlin, CFO and Head of Products and Solutions at ABN AMRO Bank, becoming the latest to be granted the accreditation by the Institute of Directors.

The Chartered Director status is recognised nationally as the highest level of professional qualification for directors and reflects the high standards and capabilities that are needed to ensure that the role of a ‘director’ is understood and placed at the heart of an organisation.

Becoming a Chartered Director requires continuous commitment and ongoing development to retain the required level of effectiveness and excellence, with those being awarded the status in Jersey having all completed a rigorous programme of examinations, and demonstrated their range of experience and abilities through a series of assessments and interviews.

In addition to Noel, those who have already been successful in achieving Chartered Director status in Jersey are: Annette Cullen; Gary Godel; Brian James; Clive Jones; David Padfield; Tim Pedley;  Simon Prescott; Helier Smith; Ross Willcox; Geoff Cook; Miguel Arraya; Kathy Gillen; Ian Jauncey; Kevin Keen; David Myatt; Richard Plaster; Philip Taylor; Nigel Jeacock-Fewtrell; and Justin Clapham.

The next programme to be delivered in Jersey for the IoD Certificate and Diploma, which lead on ultimately to Chartered Director status, is due to start on 4th April and a limited number of places are still available. Further information is available at www.iod.je
